Stained glass mosaic poppy on recycled wooden trinket box.
This mosaic poppy is created with recycled stained glass scrap on a wooden recycled jewelry box. A hand-cut textured orange glass pieces create a single poppy, and light blue glass as a sky backdrop. I grouted it dark gray and sealed with grout sealer.
NOTE: It is a well made, vintage, light wood jewelry box with detached lid that I found in a thrift shop. It has signs of wear.
Size: 7.5" x 5.5" (2" high including the lid).
